WHAT TO WEAR FOR THANKSGIVING: OUTFIT GUIDE

Every year I always struggle with what to wear for Thanksgiving! I have a certain type of outfit in mind that I’m going for, but actually finding that proves to be super challenging! For my family’s celebrations, I always like to dress cute but definitely feel comfortable. These outfit guides are divided up into the type of outfit, so hopefully you’ll be able to find some inspiration for whatever type of look you like to go for on the holiday!

LEGGINGS

This is typically the type of outfit I wear for Thanksgiving- a little bit dressy PLUS stretchy pants for alllll the turkey! I’ve broken it down into two types of leggings depending on your preference.

  1. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: these are SO worth the price! I size up for a more comfortable fit and they’re my favorite. The faux leather finish makes them dressier than other pairs of leggings!
  2. Aerie Offline Leggings: a great option for both cost and comfort! These are super stretchy and a great classic legging.
  3. Rust Tunic Sweater: this is in the running for my Thanksgiving outfit! So comfortable and the quality is amazing- especially for the price. Comes in multiple colors and my true size is long enough for leggings!
  4. Cream Tunic Sweater: have this from last year and it’s SO SOFT!
  5. Black Tunic Sweater: always love a black tunic sweater with leggings!
  6. Pearl Headband: comes in a pack of 4!
  7. Tan Booties: SUCH a versatile bootie! I have worn these SO many times this fall! Under $35 too. Go with your true size!
  8. Snakeskin Booties: have had these for multiple seasons and they’re STILL one of my favorites! Love the pop of print when I wear these.
  9. Combat Boots: on my Christmas list! Soooo cozy!
  10. OTK Boots: a classic! Comes in multiple colors and you’ll see these pop up in later guides too 😉 so versatile! Also on my Christmas list!

JEANS

Always a classic! I used to be so turned off by the thought of wearing jeans UNTIL I found comfortable jeans that are almost better than leggings. Sharing two pairs today that I think checks that box!

  1. High Waist Raw Hem Denim: took me YEARS to get back into Abercrombie denim, but I have to say.. it’s even better than it was years ago! LOVE the fit and the quality. Haven’t found a pair of denim I love more in a long time.

  8. Cognac Booties
