TULA Skincare Routine

I know you’ve seen it EVERYWHERE.. and when there is so much hype you start to question is it really that good?
Before using TULA, I didn’t have a bad skincare routine at all. I was using great products from a variety of brands.. a cleanser, a moisturizer, a toner, and a serum. Since I saw it being posted everywhere, I’d always been curious of TULA. When I became a #tulapartner, I was able to try the products first hand. I’ve been using them exclusively for about two weeks now, and I totally understand the hype. IT’S SO GOOD! They have so many products, but I want to take you through the products that I personally have been using.

Before diving into the products, it’s definitely worth mentioning that TULA is a 100% cruelty-free company- which is huge to me. They also use clean ingredients which means..
NO: parabéns, mineral oil, phthalates, sulfates, triclosan, formaldehyde, formaldehyde releasing preservatives, and retinol.

What they do use is probiotics that are both good for your body and skin!

My Skincare Routine

  1. Purifying Cleanser: called a cult classic for a reason.. IT’S SO GOOD. If I had to pick one TULA product it would be this. It smells super fresh and leaves my face feeling SO clean. It has a slight foaming feel too which I love. I’ll never go back to my previous cleanser! I use it morning and night.
  2. Pro-glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner: it says that you can use in the AM & PM after cleansing, but I typically just apply it in the PM. Directions also say to put it on a cotton pad before applying, but since I don’t have any, I just put it directly in my hand and it works perfectly! This little guy does a lot- gently exfoliates (no beads) and removes dead skin cells, and removes impurities/diminishes pores. It’s still pretty hydrating and doesn’t dry out my skin!
  3. Hydrating Day & Night Cream: this product is also a really good one.. it has almost 1500 5 star reviews on their website and I understand why. My face dries out really easily after showering or cleansing, but it also can get pretty oily throughout the day. I used to only moisturize at night, so that my face wouldn’t get super oily. This moisturizer has changed that game. I apply both in the AM & PM but a little goes a long way. Matthew even commented on how soft my face felt! If I apply in the morning, I use it before the primer and let it settle into my face a bit before applying the primer.
  4. Smoothing Primer Gel: this is another product that I’m not sure how I lived my life without. I’ve said it before.. I’m not much of a beauty person.. so I never used a primer before. IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE! This is a newer TULA product and its really, really good. It almost looks like petroleum jelly in the jar, but is so much lighter than that. It doesn’t feel oily either and goes into your skin really well. My makeup has stayed on so much better with this product and doesn’t settle into the lines on my face like it used to. #2 TULA product for SURE!
  5. Rose Glow Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm: this little guy is a gem. I don’t use this product everyday, but have used it in the morning when my eyes feel super tired or puffy. They say you can use it under or over makeup, but I’ve only ever used it under. It definitely has a slight cooling affect, which feels amazing on tired eyes. It definitely has a dewy look to it, so it can be used to highlight your face as well.
