WHAT TO DO IN COLUMBUS, OH

We spent about 48 hours in Columbus, OH – and it quickly became one of our very favorite cities! If you’ve ever thought to yourself – “what is there to do in Columbus?” Same. We just scratched the surface in places to visit while we were there – but it has become a favorite.

PLACES TO EAT:
  1. Northstar Cafe
  2. Parable Cafe
  3. Rusty Bucket
  4. SoCal Kitchen
  5. Jeni’s Ice Cream
  6. Local Cantina
  7. Brassica
PLACES TO VISIT
  1. Bliss in a Bottle: In the Easton Town Center, Bliss in a Bottle perfectly pairs chocolate and wine… ON the wine bottle! You can do tastings here too!
  2. Columbus Museum of Art: pro tip – it’s free on Sunday! They have great exhibits for kids, too. Could have spent hours here!
  3. Penn & Beech: you make your own candle here! They have hundreds of scents to choose from, and then you combine them together to create your own scent. You get to name it, pick the container, and design the logo. You do have to pick this up the next day, so make sure to budget time in your itinerary to do so!
  4. Franklin Park Conservatory: there are both indoor and outdoor exhibits here, so a great place to visit regardless of the weather! They have an outdoor children’s garden too – so it’s a great place for the whole family to visit. My personal favorite is the butterfly exhibit inside!
  5. Shopping in the Short North Arts District and the Easton Town Center! Some personal favorites in Short North are Red Giraffe Designs, Ladybird, and Happy Go Lucky Home & Her. At Easton, we really loved Celebrate Local, Lilylimes, and Homage.
WHERE WE STAYED

We stayed in the Easton area, at the Hilton Columbus at Easton! The location was super convenient to the Easton Town Center – very walkable within just a few minutes. Lots of dining and shopping! To head downtown, it was a very quick 15ish minute drive.

Hope the recommendations help guide your trip to Columbus, OH!
