THINGS EVERY EXPECTING PREGNANT MOM NEEDS

Pregnancy can be difficult, and while every mama’s journey is different, having things to make pregnancy more comfortable or easier definitely helps! Whether you’re currently expecting or planning to be, this is for you! It seems like every week I would find something that would work, and then the next things would change.. However this is my list of tried and true (in my opinion) things every expecting pregnant mom needs.

PAJAMAS

A good pair of PJ’s (and let’s be honest – all day lounge wear) make allllll the difference during pregnancy. I’ve been a fan of Cozy Earth for a few years now, but they have really saved me during pregnancy. My favorite style is their Long Sleeve Bamboo Pajama Set that I have in both black and white!

Cozy Earth’s pajama sets are perfect for both pregnancy and fourth trimester/postpartum. They are made of a bamboo material that keeps them SUPER breathable and moisture wicking – helping to prevent hot flashes.. which I always appreciate! And honestly, they are just incredibly soft and stretchy. The buttons are functional, which is super important if you’re a nursing mama.

They come in a couple other color options, and do have a short-sleeve version, as well, if you prefer that or for the warmer months.

For sizing, I would recommend going with your true size, but if you like a looser fit, size up! I’m 5’7 and find that even with the long pants, they are a perfect length. They definitely make a GREAT gift for you or for someone you know! While they are great for pregnancy and postpartum, they aren’t maternity and would be perfect for anyone looking for cozy pj’s.

Babylist: Babylist makes registering SO EASY! You no longer have to have multiple websites to create registries, because with Babylist you can add from ANY website and it will all populate onto your one registry. It also allows the buyer to see the different retailers where the item is available, so they can order from their favorite site and still get you the right item!

What to Expect: From the very beginning of our pregnancy, this app has been so wonderful for me. Every week this app gives you updates on the size of your baby, what is happening with their development, and gives you fun things to compare his/her size to. It also allows you to join their “community” where you can read and contribute to different forum threads with other moms who are due at the same time you are.
