Girls’ Weekend in Dallas
If you are looking for a great destination for your next girls’ trip.. Dallas was one for the books! It wasn’t my first time in the city, but it was my first time having to take in all that Dallas has to offer. The vibes, the food.. truly one of a kind. Sharing more about what we did for our girls’ weekend in Dallas!
Accomodations
For our girls’ weekend, we stayed at Canvas Dallas, which is just south of Downtown! I really loved having a bit of distance from being right downtown, but still only a 10-15 minute drive to all of our restaurants. Canvas has such an urban, artsy vibe and I LOVED it. The decorating was immaculate and truly such a cool space! We all four stayed in one suite and felt like we had plenty of room. Our room had a big window which let us have AMAZING lighting while we were getting ready.
The best part about the hotel was their rooftop pool, which had incredible views of the Dallas skyline. It’s important to note that on the weekends, the pool deck is rented by DJ’s and you have to rent the pool chairs during that time. You’re able to use the side tables and chairs, but it can get crowded. Another thing to note is on the weekends, the music can still get loud from your room if you’re on a higher floor and might go later. However, if you’re looking for party vibes, this is a great spot! I highly recommend heading up to the rooftop at sunset to check out the views.
What We Did
When we first arrived in Dallas, we stopped at The Spa at Hotel Cresent Court for a little self care! The other girls had a cryotherapy session, which was so fun to watch! I had (no joke) the BEST facial I’ve ever had in my entire life – yes, complete with cucumbers and seaweed. After my hydrafacial, I truly don’t think my skin has ever GLOWED like that before. I highly recommend! They also have amazing massages and a sauna and so much more! The staff was so kind and accommodating. It was truly a dream.
Where We Ate
Now for one of my favorite parts of the whole weekend… the amazing FOOD! The first night we had dinner at Hudson House at their Highland Park location. This place is truly the CUTEST! I would plan to spend a little bit more at this dinner, because everything from the apps, to the drinks, to the meal, and even dessert was AMAZING. I highly recommend the mac and cheese, lobster roll, and chocolate silk pie!
We also had brunch at Restoration Hardware and WOW! We have a location in Nashville, but I’ve actually never eaten there so I was excited to give it a try! The vibes there are of course stunning and gives for a great photo opp – especially on the rooftop patio! We indulged in the truffle fries and I had a classic grilled cheese.. but it was anything but basic. SO so good! Another brunch option was The Henry and I loved it! I feel like you can tell a lot by a restaurant when their side of fruit isn’t just cantaloupe and watermelon.. Just me?
For dinner, we ate at Las Palmas and I’m pretty sure I ate the entire bowl of queso. So yummy! They also had a really good flatbread.. we couldn’t find it on the menu but the waitress knew exactly what we were talking about! Our last night in Dallas we decided to make it low key, so we ordered Cane Rosso pizza to go and wow.. so good! I ordered the white pizza (one of my favs) and I loved it. I was sad I couldn’t bring it all home with me.
Some other fun things to do in Dallas would be heading to La La Land for coffee. I actually had matcha for the first time here and I was a fan! It’s in such a cute area with lots of shops and restaurants and would definitely be a good place to walk around.
Definitely leaving Dallas with a full heart! Cannot wait to go back one day and try out even more of their amazing restaurants 😉 Highly recommend a girls’ weekend in Dallas!

Hallie
